Has anyone here used the powdered sugar/baking soda method of killing ants? I used to do the boric acid/honey long ago, but with three curious cats I had to put it out of their reach, so it was not very effective.
For those of you who may have products including cleaning and cosmetics that were not so great in term of staying green, do you continually use those products until you run out and then make your own or purchase more natural friendly products

I like green scratchies (that stuff that sometimes is adhered to the back of sponges). I don't care for sponges so I just get the green scratchy part. I don't use a lot of chemical intervention in my cleaning efforts - green scratchies (and elbow grease) provide oomph to the environmentally sensitive dish soap I use.
